​​The 705 MagPi is a combination swiveling paddle mount and a tilt stand for the Icom 705. 

  • There are two ways to attach a paddle or key. Small paddles or keys with a magnetic base can be secured to the steel plate. Non-Magnetic small paddles or keys with a flat bottom can be secured using the supplied 3M Dual Lock tape. 
  • The orientation of the key can be set up to 75 degrees left or right of the center position. This allows a comfortable key angle for the operator while supporting the key without needing a heavy base.
  • The 705 MagPi bracket attaches to the bottom of the 705 using two supplied thumbscrews that can remain in place after it has been removed. The bracket has slots for the screws allowing a very fast deployment of the tilt stand/key bracket.
  • There is room for a paddle or straight key that is up to 3.2" long or longer if using the 3M Dual Lock tape.
  • To prevent movement of the 705 while using your paddle, two high friction stick-on rubber feet are supplied that are attached to the rear corners of the 705's case. There is an additional rubber foot under the steel key mounting plate for additional stability.
  • Includes two 1.5 inch (38mm) strips of Low Profile 3M Dual Lock.
  • Paddles shown as examples are not included. This is a swivel bracket only to hold your paddle, purchased separately.
